Lifesong for Orphans
I have to share a glimpse into how God helped provide a way for us to bring our daughter home. We were blessed to received a matching grant from "Lifesong for Orphans". Our friends & family rallied behind us & gave more than $3000 which Lifesong matched dollar for dollar up to $3000. When the grand total was calculated, we were given a check that covered our flights to the dollar. Is that amazing or what! We were so blessed to have the large expense covered (August is the most expensive month to travel to Ethiopia) & it was amazing to see how God led each person to give a certain amount that, when added together with the other donations, matched our exact need! God is so good, & we are so thankful for all of our dear friends & family who have been such a huge support through out this process.

Yes! It is amazing! When we were fundraising for our yardsale, I hoped for $1500 although I knew it was high. We raised $1200 (which is huge!), then Jon received birthday checks that added another $100 that we added to the adoption funds. Then, a few days later we received $200 in the mail from our bank for opening up a new checking account (our adoption account) that I had totally forgotten about. It was exactly $1500 deposited into our adoption account. It's such a good feeling to know that we are being supported by something much greater than us. God is good!
thats so awesome! what a blessing! got your pictures in the mail yesterday and mason's favorite one was the one of them in their TN gear!!! isaac hasnt seen them yet, but im sure that will be his fav too! : )
